Three Years Past! Oh my..

I honestly CANNOT believe I haven't updated this blog in 3 years!  Life has been crazy, yes, but honestly I forgot about it many times!  It was so therapeutic to me during the time of Will's surgery back in 2009, and I have resolved to keep it updated!!  To update....Zac is 9 and in FOURTH GRADE!  (How is that possible?!), and is growing into a fine young man...he has a strong faith and God is working on Him every minute...it's almost visible.  He does very well in school and LOVES sports (takes after his Daddy) especially baseball.  He has just started playing pitcher, and I have to say, I sit in amazement when he's pitching thinking, "That child is half me....how does he know how to do that ?!".  Ya'll have to know I was the most "un-athletic" person in the world and yes, I was called "debutante" by our P.E. teacher, Coach Fleming many a time! 
Ben is doing AMAZINGLY WELL!!!  SO much has changed in that little boy's life since he was placed on the Autism Spectrum in May of 2009!  He completed 2 years of speech and occupational therapy, has played team sports since he was 3, attended our church pre-K program, had a fabulous year in PUBLIC SCHOOL kindergarten, and is making great strides already in First Grade.  I have so many people tell me they never would have guessed he was on the spectrum.  He also just finished swimming lessons (as did all the boys this Summer).  Words can't express how much God has worked in this child!
Now for our "least'un" as my Dad likes to call him...our little Will.  Will is one red-headed, firecracker that keeps me on my toes at all times!  He talks a mile a minute, is part monkey (climbing on everything and defying the laws of gravity), plays baseball, LOVES being outside and playing with our dog Holly, and can entertain himself for hours in the yard with just two sticks.  All in all...Will Tyndall is ALL BOY and he has his mommy wrapped around every one of his little fingers (as they all do!).  You would never know he had an invasive surgery on his skull three years ago...in fact, I think that made him the rough and tough little one that he is!
Isaac and I are blessed!  New Gate Realty is still going strong (since 2005) and although we have had to shift our business plan just a tad due to the rough economy, God has continued to bless us.  We mainly manage close to 100 rental properties now within the Cabarrus,Rowan, and Mecklenburg region, but we are still a full-service agency offering assistance with real estate sales and acquisitions as well.  So...if you or anyone you know has ANY real estate needs, be sure to send them our way :)
On a different note...we are coming to the end of a difficult Summer.  At the end of May, my Dad called my cell phone while I was getting ready to teach our Thursday morning Ladies' Bible Study at church.  He had told me the mole my mother had removed days before had tested out to be Melanoma.  Our family's world stopped.  Our family had been through MANY things, but direct affects of random skin cancer was not one of them.  My grandfather passed in 1992 of lung cancer, but he was also a smoker of 50 years.  Mom's diagnosis sideswiped us out of the blue and punched us in the stomach.  My mom endured not one but TWO invasive surgeries within two weeks with the last one including a six day hospital stay.  Praise the Lord, she is cancer free, and is a Melanoma SURVIVOR!  Our God is faithful my friends...and he hears the prayers of His people!
I know this is long...but I was trying to sum up 3 years in one entry!  I promise it won't be another 3 years...love yall <3 p="p">Caroline :)
